Premix for horses and ponies. Prequine Brass is developed to supplement Copper, Zinc and Vitamin C in feed for mares during the last 3 months of gestation and foals up to 5 months of age. Zinc is very important in the reproductive cycle. Zinc administered to a pregnant mare enhances the chances of giving birth to a healthy foal. Copper supplementation of mares during late stage pregnancy and their foals reduces developmental cartilage lesions in foals.

Directions for use

For mares in the last 3 months of gestation and foals aged between 3 weeks and 5 months.

Mix with feed    
Mares in foal: 1 x 40 g per day  
Foals aged 3-7 weeks: 1 x 5 g per day  
Foals aged 7-12 weeks: 1 x 10 g per day  
Foals aged 12 – 22 weeks: 1 x 20 g per day  
Ponies < 300 kg and their foals: Half of the above quantities.  

* In a daily ration of 12 kg, 1 dose (40 g) of Prequine Brass contains 2,5% of the maximum daily allowed dosage of Copper and 1,6% of the maximum daily allowed dosage of Zinc.


Store dark and dry at 15 – 25°C. Close packaging after each use. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
